Our Philosophy
We view the child as strong, resourceful, capable, and full of potential. Children are held in high regard and are researchers and co-learners alongside their educators.
Educators are keen observers and recorders of each child’s interests and needs. Our programming develops out of the interests of the children and promotes the unique ways children express their holistic play-based goals.
About Us
Brooks Preschool is a non profit organization which provides a quality play-based educational experience for early childhood learners in the community of Brooks and County of Newell.
We have classes available for 3, 4 and 5 year old children.
Each class is 3.5 hours in duration and is offered one to five days per week. Operated under the guidance and direction of a volunteer Board of Directors.
The Brooks Preschool is licensed through the Southeastern Alberta Child and Family Services.
Our Programming
We strive to provide a wide range of programming that reflects on Flight: Alberta’s Early Learning and Childcare Framework.
We are an inclusive program in which there is acceptance and appreciation of diversity and respect for all children as mighty learners and citizens.
