Teacher’s Report

Yey, spring has officially arrived, which means we can get back outside. Please make sure your child is dressed for the weather, we all know how fast it can change! April will be a short month for us due to the Easter holidays; however there will be plenty of fun and learning about the signs of spring and going on a spring walk where we will discover what we see hear and feel during this seasonal change. We begin the month with some Easter fun which will include dying Easter eggs. Maybe the Easter bunny will stop by and leave us a treat!

Special Days

3^rd & 4^th We will be dying Easter eggs so please send a hard boiled egg for your child to dye.

17^th & 18^th For those of you who did not have a chance to purchase a class photo from IGA last fall, I will be talking a fun picture of the classes this week and everyone will be getting one.

Wed. PM Only (18^th) – We will be going on a field trip to the Brooks

Public Library. Please dress appropriately for the weather.

24^th & 25^th Spring Walk – We will be going on a walk around the block so please ensure your children are dressed for the weather. Also, please send a smooth round rock, about the size of your child fist. We will need them for a craft.

Little Reminders

• Children need proper dry indoor shoes to wear during class and a complete change of clothes left in their backpacks.

• Please write down your snack or drink up on the calendar by the sign in sheet, 2 weeks in advance. This is a licence requirement for us!

Congratulations

• To Mackenzie and her family on the new addition to their family. She will be a great big sister to Sawyer Reece weighing in at 8lbs 6oz on Feb. 24^th.

FUNDRAISING CASINO - A Major Fundraiser every year is the Casino. BPS has been given the dates of June 25^th & 26^th for Casino by Vanshaw in Medicine Hat.  The Casino proceeds are crucial to the operation of our school.  Please make a note of these dates and contact Gemma Mousley @ gemmamousley@hotmail.co.uk or at the preschool if you are able to volunteer. Thanks a bunch!
